$20 a Month Grocery Budget May 2016

Day 1:
Bell pepper sausage soup.  Paid $4 for a box of 3lb italian sausage awhile ago, got the 8 for $1 bags of bell peppers awhile ago, both in freezer.  Paid $1.50 each for the 4 cans tomato basil soup awhile ago, had in pantry.  Italian seasoning, had in pantry.  Condensed tomato soup, from food pantry.  Canned mushrooms, had in pantry.  This will last most of the week for meals.
Cereal for breakfast, purchased milk and cereal in April.
Spent $0.

Day 2.
Made some extra money got a new side job client.  So a bit more in the budget than I thought this month but going to still try to stay as close to $20 grocery budget as possible.

Cereal for breakfast again.  Will need milk soon.
Tonight’s dinner: Cesar Salad that was about to go bad so we got it free, hamburger helper with meat from freezer and pantry.

Day 3.
Went to Taco Bell with money my sis owed me.  $12

Day 4.
Cereal for breakfast with bananas I bought
Dinner is BLT’s with all ingredients i had on hand already.
