Bell Pepper Sausage Tomato Basil Soup


3 lb package italian sausage purchased on sale for $4 at Woodmans (I used about 1/3 a package)
3-4 green bell peppers chopped (got them in bags for $1 each bag had about 8 peppers this time)
leftover chopped onions from recent taco night
leftover mushrooms from another night (got these 79 cents a pack for 8 oz at aldi recently)
3 cans Progresso tomato basil soup (got on sale for $1 recently)
2 cans condensed tomato soup (food pantry item)
2-3 tsp basil

Mix above all together in crockpot.  Simmer on low until mushrooms are cooked through or soup is hot if using canned mushrooms
