Pick n Save 2/6 – 2/12 Commentary

Again I am now just posting a commentary on the Wisconsin Blog’s pick n save post.  This will most likely be a permanent thing right now.  They seem to be doing a good job when compared to my ad.  Don’t forget the current coupon book is still good another week!

I want to highlight some freebies I noticed:
Yoplait Yogurt cups and Heluva good dips free with doubled coupons

Free Creamette 150 pasta after coupon…it does not seem like my store had pasta on sale that made this deal free…I could be wrong…but this particular variety of pasta could not find on the shelf except lasagna which wasnt included in this sale

Possible free General Mills Cereal

Deals I am unsure I would post that they did:
73% lean ground beef $2.49  I guess i would post this but my preferred price is $2/lb.  Will see this price on sale if I wait long enough and also have seen it in reduced meats at Woodmans before.  I believe Aldi has some ground beef in tubes that came to $2.33/lb. last I checked.

Chocolate bagged candy–I prefer $1.50 or less for about 10 oz of candy.  The Wisconsin Blog posted some at a higher price.

I do see they list Quaker cereal $1.75 after doubled coupons this week in their post.  I generally don’t like to post cereal higher than $1.25 a box…but Kellogg’s and General Mills are the two brands that seem to have deals at those prices most often…Quaker and Post don’t have quite as many deals that cheap…so I guess I would post those higher but not sure how much higher. They also have a list for Kellogg’s cereal this week at $1.50…would not post higher than $1.25 myself, easy enough to find and stock up at $1.25 still.

I am not noticing they missed anything I would of posted this week 🙂
