Fruit Salad * 1 can (1 pound 14 ounce) fruit cocktail, drained * 1 can (1 pound, 4 ounce) pineapple chunks, drained * 2 cups miniature marshmallows * 16 maraschino cherries * 8 ounce cream cheese, cubed - room temperature * ½ cup mayonnaise * ¼ cup powdered sugar * 1 thin sliced unpeeled orange, quartered (optional) * 2 cups whipped cream * red food coloring 1. Combine first 4 ingredients, mix, and chill. 2. Blend next 4 ingredients. Blend until smooth. Pour over fruit and mix. 3. Fold in whipped cream. 4. Tint as desired with red (or other color)food coloring. 5. Spoon into aluminum foil in lined 9*5*3 inch loaf pan. Freeze, unmold, and slice. (Optional: Do not freeze; refrigerate instead).
