Product Review: Old El Paso Tortilla Stuffers

Tonight I tried Old El Paso tortilla stuffers for dinner.  We used carne asada steak flavor, it also comes in a chicken flavor that I also have in my pantry but have not tried.

This product was very quick and easy to make.  Squeeze the pouch to break up mixture inside and then open the top a crack.  Then heat in microwave for 1 minute.  I heated mine a little longer.

I emptied the package into a bowl.  This product seemed to have chunks of pieces stuck together that I didn’t like once I finished cooking and they were hard to break apart.

The taste of this product was just okay.  When I purchased it with double coupons at Pick n Save I was thinking this could be a cheap alternative to getting food from the local Su Casa restaurant or Moe’s.  Lately we are into trying to find cheaper alternatives of restaurant food that we like with items from the grocery store.  I wasn’t real impressed with the taste of this and would probably not pay money for it again, but if it was free I might use it.   I am still hoping I might like the chicken flavor better.
