Aldi 3/14/12 – 3/20/12

Note: Be warned Aldi is not always cheapest even on produce! Looking over the ad for Aldi I see cabbage for $.69 which is really high this week.  Most stores selling it for $.49 or less a lb. right now and Sussex Piggly Wiggly has it for $.19.  I found that quite interesting on the large range of prices on cabbage.

Tomatoes on vine, 1 lb. $.99
Onions, 3 lb. bag $.49
mushrooms, 8 oz. $.49
green peppers, pack of 3 $.99
Red potatoes, 5 lb. bag $1.29

Wednesday Fresh Meat Special Buy Day Fresh Eye of Round Roast $3.89/lb.

Deli Sliced Cheese 8 oz. assorted varieties $1.99
Shredded Cheese Mild Cheddar or Mozzarella 16 oz. $2.99
Cheese blocks 8 oz. $1.79

Other Foods
Clancy’s Tortilla Chips 13 oz. White rounds or Restaurant Style $.99
Casa Mamita Salsa 24 oz. Mild or medium $1.49
