The Wisconsin Highland Games will be held Labor Day Weekend (September 3rd-5th) at the Waukesha Expo Center. You can still order tickets online and save $3.00 which would make the tickets $5.00!
Children 12 and under are FREE!!!-If you order online there is a $1.00 per order handling fee. There is a lot going on: Single Stick Fencing, a Celtic Marketplace, Highland Dancing, Rugby, a Kids Area and a ton more-there is certainly something for everyone!
Thank you to My Milwaukee Mommy for spotting this event.
My family has never been to this one, but looking over what all is on the website advertising it, it looks like a lot of fun. My son and husband both do some fencing, so they would enjoy the singlestick fencing and who wouldn’t want to try some of the other things and seeing the shepherding dogs could be interesting too. My son has not seen dogs at work much. Anyone else ever been? Recommendations or comments?
As I posted at Around Waukesha, I truly look forward to this event! I too was amazed at the number of things that will be going on during this Labor Day weekend event. As far as economical, this event is very affordable, and with children 12 and under being admitted free, this is a perfect family activity that has so much to offer the Waukesha area.
Thanks for the post
