Since many people seem to have trouble figuring out what to buy at Walgreens to get their totals low I decided to write up scenarios each week. I do wonder if this is better as a separate post like it is or better attached to the proper Walgreens week. If you have an opinion which I should do, please let me know. Scenarios don’t need to be done in order listed, you just need to have the coupons and RR’s listed to use to do that transaction. Following these scenarios should ensure your total out of pocket is never over $1 if you use a cheap enough item for the non-RR items in them.
Scenario 1:
*Colgate total toothpaste 4 oz or maxwhite or toothbrush on RR ($2.99)
*1 Folder $.20, Mushrooms $.50 or some other cheap item (the cheaper the better)
Use:
$1/1 Colgate Total Toothpaste, Any, Redeemable at Walgreens (exp 12/31/10)
one $2 RR from Carmex or Tampons
Scenario 2:
*Walgreens perfect tampons 8 pack ($1.99)
*1 Folder $.20, Mushrooms $.50 or some other cheap item (the cheaper the better)
Use:
one $2 RR from Carmex or Colgate
Scenario 3:
*Carmex lip gloss $2
*1 Folder $.20, Mushrooms $.50 or some other cheap item (the cheaper the better)
Use:
one $2 RR from Colgate or Tampons
Scenario 4:
*Breathe right strips 10 ct. package $4
*1 Folder $.20, Mushrooms $.50 or some other cheap item (the cheaper the better)
Use:
TWO RRs any combination from Carmex, Colgate or Tampons
Scenario 5:
*Carmex Lip Gloss $2
*Tampons 8 pack $1.99
*1 Folder $.20, Mushrooms $.50 or some other cheap item (the cheaper the better)
Use:
One $4 Breathe Right RR
OR…..
Two Colgate RR’s
Scenario 6:
