I have a number of sites online that I like for earning points and turning them in for either money, gift cards or things. Following is a list of some of them:
1. Mypoints.com This has to go on my list of favorites. You can earn points shopping, reading emails, online web searching, completing surveys, printing and using internet printed coupons, and many other ways. I usually only take advantage of the emails and some surveys. I was not able to print the coupons until recently, but I don’t think I have used any of them yet. One person I know complained that she never seemed to get points for using the coupons. I usually get about $35 worth of gift cards per year from MyPoints. Usually a $25 itunes gift card that I give to my husband and a $10 CVS or Walgreens gift card. (Yes, they carry CVS and Walgreens gift cards and many other useful ones, unlike some points earning websites.
2. Swagbucks WordPress does not seem to allow a link to swagbucks, so I will have to post the url http://swagbucks.com/ I only recently started swagbucks, but I do like it. You earn points online web searching, primarily. Every day when I go to sparkpeople.com for entering my meals for counting my calories and my exercise, I go by typing it into my swagbucks bar in my webbrowser. I usually have to search about 3 times before I get some search points, then I move to using the mypoints search bar. (Mypoints you search 31 times per month and get 75 points.) You can also earn points by subscribing to their blog and going on swagbuck hunts, using a search bar, and many other ways. Swagbucks can be turned in for things and some gift cards. I usually turn them in for $5 gift cards at Amazon. So far I get a $5 gift card at Amazon every two months. Should have a number by Christmas and my husband’s family’s amazon swap fest. (Sorry, we are all strewn out across the United States, so we tend to get things on Amazon for each other. Seems a little silly, if you ask me, except for the grand kids.)
Specific Rewards Earning Sites
1. erewards This one is not as good as MyPoints or Swagbucks in my opinion, because the rewards just aren’t as good. They treat the rewards like they are money, but they are not. You can get magazines, and some other rewards. What I get is twice a year you can get one free video rental per month for six months from Blockbuster. It comes in the form of a document and you print it and bring in the coupon each month and you can rent any video in the store for a longer rental, not the overnight rental. New movies, older movies, whatever. I usually rent one new movie per month and the rest of our rentals are older movies at the library. You will find it easy to get enough points for the blockbuster videos each year and have extra. They do expire at the end of your membership year, which is quite annoying. But I find I still get enough points for the videos and use some for magazines, even did the ftd coupon once.
Somehow I thought there was something else that I was going to mention here, but I will come back and add more if I remember more.
